S4M at IBC 2010: Enabling Multi Platform Sales Support
& Optimization
August 12, 2010
Source: S4M
At IBC 2010 S4M will present its broadcast
management and production systems.
Highlights:
The new Central Sales Order (CSO) module
enables broadcasters to centrally control cross-media-sales-campaigns.
Using S4Ms CSO existing and new sales systems for diverse
platforms can be combined no matter if they come from
different vendors. That way, clients are enabled to deal with
combined advertising campaigns for TV, mobile devices, the
Internet etc. From order and deal management over budget split
and allocation to sales channel performance tracking and invoicing
all important tasks can be accomplished centrally.
- Spot optimization engine. The module enables broadcasters
to reduce the over delivery of manual GRP-bookings
dramatically while keeping - and even improving
- customer placement preferences. And using less airtime opens
up the opportunity to generate additional revenue.
This important functionality now is also offered as software
as a service. That means for example, the optimization
module can be accessed via the Internet and can be used independently
- no matter what kind of air time sales system a broadcaster
has in use. The broadcaster wouldnt need to maintain
the corresponding software at his own location at all.
- S4M Video Production Management System (VPMS) and the studio
production tool ClipJOCKEY as well as all in one
Broadcast Management with Dynamics Media and Production Planning
with S4production.
