SGT at IBC 2009 with its VEDA Software Suite and Powerful Automation Client

VEDA Automation client is SGT’s flagship product complementing its flexible and powerful platform to manage workflows.

The development team has put a particular attention on its ergonomics and the overall presentation. This application is composed of 10 modules that can be organised to meet the user’s needs and allow tailoring the workspace through a graphical tool (a configuration with a double screen is also possible).

However, VEDA Automation does not only offer a new look and feel: the technology behind it is the result of SGT’s long-term expertise in this field. The solid Automation server is now able to play out a virtually unlimited number of channels and is more open than ever through its comprehensive set of Web Services.

Among new features of VEDA Automation, users benefit from:

• A comprehensive, context-sensitive playlist editing (including audio shuffling)
• 3rd party graphics ActiveX management
• Integrated browsing

All features are based on SGT’s technology platform that is known for highest reliability, upgradeability and performance. It offers new BXF interfaces and powerful Web Services to ensure a greater integration with third-party tools installed at the client’s site.
