September 9, 2010
Source: Autocue
Autocue will
showcase its first ever tripod and lighting solutions at IBC
2010.
The entry-level tripods are part of Autocue's
new camera support range, which will initially include two
aluminium tripods:
- Heavyweight (£349) with floor spreader and a 18kg
payload capacity
- Medium-weight (£229) with mid-level spreader and a
6kg payload capacity
These tripods will support all ENG, DV and
DSLR cameras, and are an ideal accompaniment to Autocue's
Starter Series teleprompters.
At the show, Autocue will also introduce
a range of LED and softbox lighting kits. The dimmable 1000
and 500 LED lights (£499 and £279 respectively)
and stands (£49) can be used in any combination to make
up the ideal entry-level lighting kit. For softer lighting,
there is a 3-head softbox lighting kit including case and
12 fluorescent bulbs for just £249. There is also an
on-camera, 120 LED light, ideal for mobile shoots, for just
£109.
The introduction of these new products forms
part of a new strategy by Autocue to expand its offer to the
Pro Video market, and build on the successful launch of its
Starter Series teleprompters. The products themselves build
on Autocue's extensive broadcast experience, and allow Pro
Video customers to source all their key studio hardware from
one trusted brand.
The tripods and lighting kits will
start shipping to customers in Nov 2010. For further information,
please contact sales@autocue.com
or visit Autocue at IBC on stand 11.F50.
