Azden Launches new ENG Receivers

Azden Corporation has just completed the largest model changeover in its history in preperation for the industry changeover to digital TV in February, 2009. Azden has three different series of ENG models; broadcast, professional videography (both single and dual channel models), and entry-level / prosumer.



The new ENG model receivers, designed for use with Panasonic? or Ikegami? "slot-in" cameras, Sony? "V-mount" cameras or cameras using the Anton-Bauer? Gold-Mount? system are designated the 1200URX/Si, 1200URX/VM and 1200URX/AB respectively. The corresponding transmitters are the 1200BT body-pack and 1200XT plug-in. This system operates between 638.125 - 661.875 MHz and offers the 188 user-selectble frequencies – through a multi-function LCD display. Systems begin at $1360.00 MSRP.

The new Professional level models consist of 2 receivers (the single-channel 305UPR and dual-channel 325UPR) and 3 transmitters (the 35BT body-pack, the 35HT handheld and the 35XT plug-in). These modesl operate in the 566.125-589.875 MHz range and and offer 188 user-selectable frequencies via a multi-function LCD display. Systems start at $550 MSRP for single channel models and $$995 for dual-channel models.

The 105 series rounds out the new models and features the 105UPR receiver, the 15BT body-pack, the 15HT handheld and the 15XT plug-in. These operate between 566.25-589.75 MHz and have 92 user-selectable freqencies.

All models are currently available for shipment.
