MediaPipe has been in use by CBS NewsPath for over 4 years and was chosen by NBC NewsChannel to replace a competitive solution in 2002.
BitCentral's newest solution, Precis, is designed to be an affordable digital End-to-End Play-to-Air solution for broadcast stations involved in the creation of local news programming. The Precis solution workflow begins with story inception, covers content acquisition, involves multiple editing solutions, run-down creation, and finally Play-to-Air capability. The Precis workflow is highly efficient cutting time-to-air to less than five minutes from the tape walking in the back door. Though relatively new to the market Precis is based on the industry proven code of MediaPipe and is therefore being adapted quickly by major stations around the country. In fact, one of the big three networks has just adapted Precis for installation into their owned and operated stations. |
