Alvin Lim named as Managing Director of Blackmagic Design Asia

Blackmagic Design, manufacturer of video cards, converters and routers for post production and television broadcast industries, has appointed Alvin Lim as managing director of Blackmagic Design Asia, effective immediately.

Lim is responsible for sales, business development, customer service and field support for customers in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, East Timor, Burma, Laos, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Maldives, Nepal, Bhutan and Mongolia.

Lim is experienced at various levels of the video market including retail and manufacturing, and holds a Bachelor Degree from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.
