Brick House Video, manufacturer of compact and cost-effective equipment for production and post-production, has released plans to present full production versions of its Syntax up/cross-converter at NAB 2008.

Based on advanced super-resolution bandlet technology, the affordable Syntax brings the performance advantages of motion-compensated processing without the currently associated disadvantages of high cost and occasionally severe artefacts.

The compact 1RU unit incorporates comprehensive audio facilities and offers up-conversion and cross-conversion with SDI I/O, noise reduction and ARC facilities.
