With this order, group
seamlessly integrates Tasmania stations into group-wide AudioVAULT
network
Broadcast Electronics (BE) and Lumina Broadcast Systems announce
that Grant Broadcasters Pty Ltd ordered ten BE AudioVAULT
studio systems for stations in Tasmania, Australia.
With this order, Grant Broadcasters, one of the largest privately
owned radio networks in Australia, standardizes on AudioVAULT
group-wide. "We have been successfully using AudioVAULT
systems in our group since 1995, and have progressively converted
all but eight of our 28 wholly owned stations to AudioVAULT.
This latest investment will see every station, except one,
running AudioVAULT," said John Sandles, Group Engineering
Manager, Grant Broadcasters.
The group's seven stations in Northern Tasmania will seamlessly
integrate into Grant Broadcasters' group-wide AudioVAULT network,
allowing operational efficiencies and increased program quality
in locally generated content and talent sharing between stations
far beyond current capability.
BE's AudioVAULT is a complete digital media system for live-assist
or automated operation, including multi-track editing, centralized
music library management, remote voicetracking, and multi-location
workgroup collaboration.

"We are extremely pleased to be able to bring all these
tools and studio capabilities to Grant," said Frank Massa,
Asia Pacific Sales Manager for Broadcast Electronics, which
will show its AudioVAULT studio system and transmitter lines
at booth D42 during the SMPTE Exhibition & Convention
at the Sydney Exhibition Centre, July 21-24, 2009.
The AudioVAULT systems are being supplied to Grant Broadcasters
by Peter Warren of Lumina Broadcast Systems Australia Pty
Ltd, which represents BE's studio and RF product lines in
Australia.
