Broadcast Electronics, Inc. (BE) President and Chief Executive
Officer Joseph W. Roark announces the appointment of Brian
Lindemann as Vice President, Engineering.

Effective immediately, Lindemann will oversee all RF engineering
activity for BE, the world's leading radio-only equipment
manufacturer. He brings to his new role a strong, 20+ year
background in communications for a number of companies, including
Rockwell Collins and Honeywell. He holds six patents and specializes
in waveform generation with an emphasis on hardware/software
co-design. Lindemann is a Six Sigma Black Belt with a strong
understanding of best design practices that will continue
to ensure BE's technology leadership.
"I'm delighted to have someone of Brian's leadership
caliber, experience and talent join us," said Roark.
"BE continues to add remarkable engineering strength
to our team in order to provide our customers with the best-of-class
technology and products they expect from us."
BE also announces that Rick Dorfner and Josh Timmons have
been added as software development engineers. Both bring 20+
years of outstanding experience in developing breakthrough
engineering expertise and design. Each has complementary skills
in embedded operating systems and integrated circuitry design.
Dorfner's background in network communications and Timmons'
background in time-critical software applications will be
leveraged by BE to establish a cross-functional engineering
platform for existing as well as next-generation BE transmitters.
"Our customers will see world class processes at work
in the development of best quality, delivery and cost solutions
that are needed for their radio operations," continued
Roark, "while BE continues to strengthen our commitment
to all segments of the global radio market with the 2009 introduction
of a world-class line of transmitters and automation software."
Previously, BE announced the promotion of Eric Power to the
newly created position of Manager, Mechanical and PCB Design.
In this role, Power continues to act as Project Manager on
select new products, but has a special focus on the Value
Analysis and Value Engineering of existing products to ensure
continuous improvement. Eric has been with BE for six years
after prior stints with Glenayre and Dielectric.
