Broadcast Traffic Systems (BTS), an international
supplier of traffic solutions will be demonstrating its latest
software releases at IBC 2008 in Amsterdam. BTS was the first
traffic supplier to offer full multi-language solutions that
allow a broadcaster to select the preferred language for the
operation of the system, BTS has customers operating its software
in Chinese, Japanese, Arabic and English.

Organisations using the software also have a choice of computer
hardware and database because BTS offer a non-proprietary
solution. BTS software is not locked to any one operating
system such as Windows, it is also available under UNIX, LINUX
and Apple. As a consequence, BTS customers can select hardware
and database platforms that fit with corporate IT strategy.
The BTS Internet access features provide full operational
capabilities to staff working from remote locations. The ability
to access the software from remote locations has been essential
to some of BTS international clients who operate a multi-site
environment, coupled with the multi-language features organisations
can quickly launch the system in a new region with a minimum
of effort and since there is no software required on workstations
the amount of IT support needed at remote locations is kept
to a minimum.
