Compix, a leading
developer of broadcast-quality character generators (CGs),
is pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa Kirtley as
the company's new director of sales. Kirtley will be responsible
for developing, supporting, and managing Compix sales initiatives
across the Americas and fostering continued expansion of the
company's business for a variety of industry sectors and markets.

"Compix sales are handled through a worldwide network
of professional dealers and I am confident that by bringing
on Lisa, we will continue to enhance the high standards of
commitment and support that we have established for our channel
and our customers," said Veronica Kim, vice president
of Compix Media. "With her extensive experience, deep
insight into markets across the globe, and strong belief in
the limited distribution sales model, Lisa will steer company
sales initiatives in the right direction and continue to grow
the ambitious new dealer incentive program we recently introduced
this year. The increased availability of our products, complemented
by localized sales and support, will make it easier than ever
for customers to take advantage of our powerful and intuitive
CG solutions."
Kirtley brings with her more than 14 years of sales experience.
In her most recent role as the director of channel sales for
Crispin Corporation, a leading broadcast automation company,
she oversaw company initiatives in sales and change management,
business and dealer channel strategy, and product marketing.
Kirtley was instrumental in developing, implementing, and
managing a solid dealer channel program with limited distribution,
helping the company to substantially increase revenues in
a very short period of time.
Prior to working with Crispin Corporation, Kirtley was the
national sales manager for Echolab, Inc. where she implemented
sales management processes, revamped sales messages, and coordinated
dealer channel strategies that helped company revenue growth
by 100 percent. Kirtley earlier served as general manager
and principal of Commercial Video Systems, Inc., where she
was responsible for all aspects of operations, including accounting,
inventory, sales, vendor relations, marketing, and systems
integration.
"I am delighted to join Compix and to be part of this
exciting, expanding company," said Kirtley. "Compix
has established itself as the promising new star in the character
generator market, and I look forward to working with its team
of committed, talented individuals."
Kirtley holds a bachelor's degree in graphic arts from Ball
State University. She will be based in Austin, Texas.
