Controls today announced the release of the GTP 32BP Breakout
Panel, which enables fast, simple connection to the inputs
and outputs of the company's GTP-32 GPI Tally Processor. Fully
compatible with any GTP-32 model, DNF Controls' new breakout
panel makes it easier than ever to manage GPI and tally signals
through a single, highly configurable solution.
"Our GTP-32 system has proved to be a valuable tool for
broadcasters working with dissimilar equipment and requiring
a neat, reliable means of transporting GPIs and GPOs, whether
across the room or around the globe," said John Duggin,
DNF Controls president. "With the new GTP 32BP Breakout
Panel, engineers now have even greater flexibility and improved
accessibility in managing signal connections. We're always
striving to help broadcasters do their work more comfortably
and efficiently, and the GTP-32BP represents yet another DNF
Controls product that simplifies key broadcast operations."
The GTP-32 GPI is a powerful, compact GPI tally processor,
router, distributor, and combiner. This multitasking solution
provides an interface between dissimilar equipment, offers
long- or short-distance GPI/GPO transport, acts as an alternative
to running multiconductor cables, provides complex signal
processing/conditioning, and provides GPI and tally routing.
The 1-RU system features 32 two-wire optically isolated inputs
and 32 two-wire contact closure outputs that can be configured
from any PC using a Web browser-friendly configuration tool.
The GTP 32BP Breakout Panel for the GTP 32 provides jumper-selectable
wet or dry GPI inputs. Its recessed housing design allows
cable access from within the rack, and a front-panel tie rod
included with the unit provides cable-strain relief. The panel
complements the speed of the GTP 32's GPI and tally processing,
providing a straightforward way for operators to delegate
GPIs and tallies to control rooms, studios, stages, and other
venues with minimal time and effort.
