At this year's IBC, DVS Digital Video Systems AG focuses on optimizing customer workflows. At stand 7.E21, DVS shows how the new features of CLIPSTER® can be implemented in DCI mastering and conforming applications to achieve more user-friendly workflows with higher data throughput. Customized storage solutions such as DVS-SAN and SpycerBox provide users with maximum flexibility. The new feature set of Spycer® contains new security parameters as well as maximum transfer rates for copy processes.
CLIPSTER®, the DVS flagship, offers customers many cutting-edge features focused around future capability, speed and reliability for DCI mastering and conforming.

The new 8-Gbit Fibre Channel technology is now included with DVS-SAN. This technology effectively doubles the performance of custom storage solutions. The DVS-SAN management tool provides DVS customers with a detailed overview of the configuration, size and utilization of their storage environment.
The Spycer® data management software also includes many new features. Professional content management with Spycer® is much easier than ever thanks to improved reliability and speed in Spycer networks, as well as support for QuickTime® under Linux®.
The central media hub SpycerBox is also equipped with many state-of-the-art options. Post production houses can integrate SpycerBox, with its 24 TB capacity, into their workflow as a central NAS (Network Attached Storage). The new ingest option can be used to import uncompressed image sequences.

Hans-Ulrich Weidenbruch, DVS CEO: "We are glad to present our users and other interested visitors to our IBC stand many new product features that contribute to sustainable optimization of film and video production workflows.“
