The Democratic National Convention in 2008
was a career highlight and one of the largest remotes that
Jennings worked on with ABC. For this event, he was a technical
manager providing production and engineering support. Jennings
worked closely with the major broadcaster to execute and enhance
services, essentially building out a mini-Teleport over a
three to four month period for 500 support people.
As a result, ABC was able to broadcast DNC coverage live out
of Denver for 10 days. In addition, Jennings has been involved
with engineering, production and field operations for Good
Morning America, World News Tonight, Hard
Ball with Chris Matthews, The Today Show
and DHS TOPOFF program for ready awareness.
