Liberty Cablevision of Puerto Rico Deploys Everstream Video-On-Demand Operational Intelligence™ Solution

Everstream, a Concurrent (NASDAQ: CCUR) company and industry leader of software for broadband network usage measurement, today announced that Liberty Cablevision of Puerto Rico Ltd., a subsidiary of Liberty Global (NASDAQ: LBTYA), has deployed key operations intelligence solutions across its footprint. The deployment enables utilization of near real-time data to proactively manage system performance, capacity and usage trends for over 90,000 subscribers through scorecards, reports and dashboard-style views. In addition, the announcement marks Everstream's entry into the growing Latin American cable sector.

"The launch of our analytic products in Puerto Rico strengthens the partnership established with Liberty many years ago by Concurrent." Concurrent, Everstream's parent company, launched VOD in Puerto Rico with Liberty in 2005; this was the first VOD deployment in the Caribbean.

At the heart of the deployment is Everstream's Operational Intelligence (Oi™) application. Oi provides operations and engineering teams with crucial insight into service performance and subscriber experience for digital services such as video-on-demand (VOD). The solution enables operators to easily track usage trends and quality of service through easy-to-use scorecards and dashboard views. These tools provide comprehensive management of key performance indicators including: capacity planning; root cause analysis and correlation; and interactive session quality and growth rates.

"We looked at several options for managing our VOD subscriber data in a more concise manner, and none offered the wide-ranging features or ease of use of Everstream's Oi," said Emerson Sampaio, director of information technology, Liberty Cablevision of Puerto Rico. "As our subscriber base grows, we must translate incoming service data into easy to manage information in order to effectively monetize present and future digital service offerings."

With the addition of Liberty Puerto Rico, Everstream's VOD products and solutions have been now been deployed in most major cable markets including Latin America, Asia, Canada and the U.S. In the U.S. alone, the company manages data from over 22 million subscribers or 70% of the entire VOD market.
