EVS will present tapeless production systems dedicated to Broadcasters and Production companies as they streamline their TV shows and entertainment programme-making. These workflows combine the strengths of the field proven XT[2] server with the simplicity of VTR’s, while allowing file and metadata compatibility with any post production environment.

The system features the following applications in HD and SD:

  • Multi camera ingest and loop recording
  • Instant preview
    Metadata creation and association (logging process)
  • Clip creation and fast editing
  • Seamless transfer to post production and NLEs (CleanEdit, Apple Final Cut Pro and Avid Media Composer)

Sport Broadcast – Outside Broadcast Production and Instant Media Server
EVS will showcase the latest technology evolutions and its most advanced workflows dedicated to studio and OB sport broadcasters.

The workflow will be presented in two typical configurations: OB trucks for live broadcast production and Instant Media Server for studio live, near-live, post production and repurposing. Both workflows will be featured in full HD configuration with advanced metadata management and seamless integration with third party post production tools.

The two workflows will include the following applications:
