True audio and video convergence is the message Fairlight will be promoting at this year’s IBC Exhibition in Amsterdam, where it will be showing its award-winning Xynergi Media Production Centre.

The company also plans to show its new Constellation Media Production Centre, which incorporates its ground breaking Xynergi controller technology in a large console format.

Designed for a wide range of customers, from multiple room commercial audio post facilities through to aspirational home studio owners, Fairlight Xynergi organises and delivers all the tools needed for high-end audio for video production in all widely used surround formats. The system harnesses the ‘green’ processing power of Fairlight’s CC-1 digital media engine and incorporates integrated PyxisTrack video.

The Xynergi controller, which features in the centre section of the new Constellation MPC, is a unique user interface that allows engineers to access all features and functions of the Fairlight CC-1, as well as commonly used Windows applications such as Email, Word and Excel.

Fairlight will be demonstrating Xynergi and Constellation on its stand - 11:G33.
