FOR-A Partners with Tecnovideo for Tech Support in Brazil

FOR-A Corporation of America, a leading manufacturer of video and audio systems for the broadcast and professional video industries, announces a partnership with one of its distributors based in Brazil, Tecnovideo. FOR-A customers will now be able to receive authorized technical support in country from Tecnovideo.

Tecnovideo has been in the broadcast market in Brazil for two decades providing automated solutions for the distribution of broadcast and professional products. In addition to the FOR-A line of products, Tecnovideo also represents JVC and Sony and serves as an authorized technical support center for JVC and Sony. Beginning in September, engineers from Tecnovideo will be able to make repairs and offer warranty service to FOR-A customers in Brazil.

Artur Oguri, Commercial Director of Tecnovideo in Brazil says the time is right for his company to expand their partnership with FOR-A by becoming an authorized service center in Brazil: “Broadcasters here are becoming more familiar with FOR-A’s products. While the quality of their equipment is what stands out, sales are increasing in part because FOR-A is offering us the support we need to continue growing their customer base.”

With the high customs costs associated with importing and exporting from Brazil, addressing even minor service concerns presented a bit of a problem. Pedro Silvestre, FOR-A Regional Sales Manager–Caribbean and Latin America says this will be a most welcome addition for FOR-A’s customers. “We know this is something our customers in Brazil have been looking for. Having an established service center in Brazil will allow them to protect their investment with us,” said Silvestre. “Tecnovideo has the talent and infrastructure to provide this value added service and help us demonstrate our continued commitment to our customers in that market.”
