Front Porch Digital Appoints Sales Engineer for Latin America

In
a move to reinforce support for its customers in the Western
Hemisphere, Front Porch Digital announced today the appointment
of Alevil Rincones as sales engineer for Latin America.
Alevils appointment to this
new position is further evidence of Front Porchs commitment
to our customers throughout Central, South, and Latin America,
as well as to our Spanish-language customers in the United
States,
said Dave Polyard, Front Porch Digital senior vice president
of sales for the Americas. Alevil is fluent in Spanish,
English, and Portuguese, which helps communication efforts
in these regions tremendously. He also has extensive hands-on
experience in IT and broadcast engineering.
Based in Miami, Rincones is currently working
with Latin American customers to define their content storage
needs. He is also identifying the growing market in these
regions and will work to enhance the functionality of Front
Porchs DIVA line of products to address these markets.
He reports directly to Polyard.
Rincones comes to Front Porch after 10 years
at Sony Corp. As Sonys senior marketing and broadcast
manager for business solutions, his responsibilities included
pricing, sales budget, inventory, sales forecasting, and project
management. Rincones holds a bachelors degree in electrical
engineering from the University of Houston.
