GLOBALSTOR STORAGE TECHNOLOGY TAKES NAB 2008 BY STORM

Globalstor Data Corporation,
premier OEM Integrator of high performance RAID, SAN and storage/video
servers, deals a full house at NAB 2008 with a series of leading
film production distributors and manufacturers featuring Globalstors
signature data storage servers ExtremeStor-DI servers, including
its new ExtremeStor-DI REDe, which represents the first in
the line to offer compatibility with todays popular
RED Digital Cinema cameras.
Both Arena Maxtronic (Booth SU10729), a
leading manufacturer of DAS, NAS and SAN RAID storage solutions,
and DigiData (Booth SU6805), a leading innovator and developer
of performance archival solutions, will be exhibiting Globalstors
ExtremeStor-DI server, showcasing the products uncompressed
2K playback demos with Fibre Channel RAID storage.
Lasergraphics Inc. (Booth SL12105), a company
specializing in the development and manufacturing of motion
picture film recording and scanning systems, will exhibit
its use of ExtremeStor-DI running ASSIMILATE SCRATCH software.
This system will illustrate workflow integration
with LaserGraphics film scanner and Final Cut Pro and
its positive impact on film or video post production. An ASSIMILATE
SCRATCH demo representative will be present at the booth throughout
the show to demonstrate the system and answer questions.
Also highlighting Globalstors Extreme-DI
is Bluefish444 (Booth SL7906), a technology and market leader
in the field of 2K/HD/SD digital video content creation and
broadcast, which will feature the systems functions
in conjunction with use of the Bluefish444 HD/LUST 10-bit
capture card to show its ability in retaining all original
film data during the Digital Intermediate process.
Demos will include capture and playback
of HD and 2K content and its incorporation of ASSIMILATE SCRATCH
software for playback and color grading demos.
Revealing Globalstor Data Corporations
highly anticipated product, the ExtremeStor-DI REDe, for the
first time is ASSIMILATE (Renaissance Hotel Suite),
which will demo the new server alongside a RED camera to illustrate
its ability to uncompress and play back RED camera footage
as a high-resolution 2K image within real time at 24 frames
per second. Its display will also demonstrate its positive
impact on streamlining the digital workflow phases, ranging
from shooting to finishing.
