About Us
Hotronic was founded in California in 1982. Its main line of products was digital TBC/Frame Synchronizer systems. The company's objective was to develop high performance and affordable broadcast video communication equipments.
With nearly two decades of constant dedication and innovative design efforts, Hotronic has expanded its product line to accommodate the fast changing needs of the broadcast industry. These include TBC, Frame Synchronizer, Switcher, DVE, Test Signal Generator, Video Delay, Audio Delay, SDI/Analog Converter, Digital Video Router and full line of SDI products.
The company's design team is made up of a group of talented engineers who were well-versed in TBC Technology. Their team leader was one of the pioneers in the engineering of digital TBC.
The user friendly product design and reliability allow the company to establish a broad customer base. Today major customers include TV networks such as CBS, ABC, NBC and many other affiliated TV stations. Other long term customers include US Government departments, research laboratories, schools, video production facilities and multi-media professionals.
