I-Movix Will Present the NEW SprintCam - Real-time 5000 FPS Slow Motion System for Sports Broadcasting

August 1, 2007

Source: I-Movix

After the success of I-Movix at the NAB 2007 in Las Vegas, where I-Movix won the “TV Technology Star” award and attracted interest from major TV networks and professional camera rental companies, I-Movix will attend to the IBC in Amsterdam and to the Sportel Monaco.

New Features

During the weeks following the NAB 2007, I-Movix drastically improved its product by offering more color settings (white balance, black balance, gain control, gamma control and knee control), a deep reducing of flickering, and an overall better image quality close to an ordinary camera.

We also developed a new user-friendly software & hardware interface and a new design of our CCU (3U – 19 Inch) for a minimum space in the OB van. With already in the past a full broadcast integration with an OCP control, a Jog-Shuttle, a full compatibility with the traditional broadcast lenses (Fujinon & Canon) and plug and play connection trough a SMPTE fiber optic cable, the final version of the SprintCam® v.1.00 is now ready to shoot at the most famous shows in the world.
What's next ?

The success of I-Movix during those events left no doubt as to its quality and performance, and the next series of events are already on I-Movix’s agenda.

The next step will be with the European Horse Race Grand Prix in Mons (Belgium) - 12 august, the MX1 Motocross Grand Prix in Namur (Belgium) - 5 August.
(For more information about those events, feel free to contact info@i-movix.com)

The SprintCam® impresses viewers and users with its new image quality from 500fps to 5000fps and its instant HD/SD - SDI output replay ability. As the most prestigious sporting events begin to depend on I-Movix and its capacity to outperform its competitors, SprintCam® is now on the brink of exploding onto the European market in the coming weeks.
