LYNX Technik AG
will launch their new "Yellobrik" Multiformat Sync
Pulse Generator with Genlock (S PG 1707) at NAB 2009 - Booth
No. C1628.
The S PG 1707 offers a feature-set unlike
any portable sync generator available today, including genlock
with full cross lock capability, which locks the outputs to
any reference sync format and standard.

The module provides 3 x HDTV tri-level sync outputs as well
as 3 x SDTV bi-level sync outputs and supports all SD, HD
and composite (PAL / NTSC) video formats. A separate audio
sync output can be switched between 48 KHz World Clock or
Digital Audio Reference (DARS).
Ultra stability is achieved using precision
temperature controlled oscillators with an accuracy of 2ppm.
All controls, settings and instructions
can be easily understood and accessed from the front panel.
In standalone mode the S PG 1707 can be
used a studio reference generator, a compact economical substitute
for traditional larger rack mount equipment. It is also at
home in OB applications, mobile editing, post production,
and professional AV applications that require a stable HD
or SD reference signal. Plus, the attractive price point of
this module makes it an affordable solution regardless of
the application.
This innovative little nugget is part of
LYNX Technik's new "Yellobrik" line of standalone
brick signal processing products. All new "Yellobrik"
modules meet the rigorous demands of broadcasting environments
and provide the tools necessary to span the full spectrum
of professional AV applications.
Availability:
Yellobrik S PG 1707 will be available in
May 2009.
