Marshall fills the void with new fully-featured,
high-end portable monitors with full 3Gb/s serial digital
interface
Marshall Electronics, a manufacturer of LCD monitors is now
shipping two different portable monitors with 3 gigabits per
second (Gb/s) Serial Digital Interface (3G-SDI). The V-LCD651ST-3GSDI
and V-LCD70P-3GSDI are the latest addition to Marshall's of
portable field monitors.

These new camera-top monitors incorporate a 3Gb/s multi-rate
SDI receiver and are now available for purchase through Marshalls
network of authorized dealers and distributors. With broadcast
production facilities looking to the future with 3Gb/s SDI
integration, Marshall fills the void with new fully-featured,
high-end monitors with full 3Gb/s and HD-SDI support.
The new series of Marshall 6.5 and 7 LCD monitors
offer 3Gb/s SDI, HD-SDI (1.5Gb/s single and dual link), SD-SDI,
HDMI, and Component inputs. 3G is backwards compatible with
existing SD and HD infrastructures using 75-ohm coaxial cable,
which makes it a clear and cost-effective choice for integrators
and broadcast facilities around the world.
Marshall continues to lead the industry by offering
a variety of monitors with 3G-SDI capability, said Nathan
Mordukhay, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Marshall
Electronics. Our new Triple Rate 3G/HD/SD monitors provide
customers with a future-proof solution, particularly those
in need of 1080p 50/60 playback.
More Marshall monitors offering 3Gb/s SDI will become available
later this year in a variety of sizes and configurations.
