Partnership provides reciprocal opportunities
for Megahertz and Feltech across broadcast, digital signage,
corporate and government business
Megahertz (MHz), an international independent systems integrator,
today launched a joint partnership agreement
with Feltech, one of the leading UK-based digital broadcast
and Audio Video Information Technology (AVIT) equipment suppliers
and systems integrators.
The two companies will remain independent business entities
but will partner on UK & international projects where
it is mutually beneficial to both parties and where there
is a significant return on investment for customers
by having this union. Visitors to BVE in London next month
(MHz stand no. K30 in London's Earls Court 2, 17-19 February
2009) will be able to meet with senior executives from the
two companies.
Both parties come to the table with different expertise and
aim to provide complete turnkey solutions to match customer's
requirements. MHz has its strength in mainstream broadcast
- from HD file-based workflow solutions, DSNG trucks and production
trailers to the complete build out of earth stations - while
Feltech has concentrated on broadcast AVIT, IPTV, and digital
signage solutions within the government, corporate, venue
and
education sectors
"The partnership with Megahertz will provide our customers
with a unique offering and will enable both Megahertz and
Feltech to engage in new business opportunities" said
Peter Fell, Managing Director Feltech. "It is crucial,
particularly in this economic climate, to ensure clients see
an identifiable return on investment (ROI) and with our joint
expertise there will be an impact on the bottom line."
"Decision makers today are looking for ways to improve
their ROI by reducing costs and increasing productivity across
an installation - whether in a broadcast, corporate or government
application," said Greg Hoskin, Managing
Director of Megahertz. "Our partnership with Feltech
will allow us to work more closely together and engage in
larger scale projects which demand significant expertise drawn
from both parties. Our joint resources will provide unparalleled
efficiencies and choice to our customers not seen on this
scale before in the market."
Feltech was established in 1989 and now employs a team of
highly skilled professionals with a wealth of experience covering
engineering, installation, system design, equipment sales,
outsourcing and customer support. The company operates in
the development and installation of
broadcast television systems, satellite and RF installations,
AV systems, video & audio conferencing facilities, digital
signage and IPTV.
