Avitech Multiviewers Score for Euro Cup 2008 Transmission Monitoring
|
|
|
Avitech announced that through VIDI Video Digital
GmbH, a leading German-based broadcast
equipment distributor, they supplied Swisscom with a
host of multi-image display processors for use during
the 2008 Euro Cup.
A total of 63 Avitech MCC-8004UEL Multiviewers were
used by Swisscom's Broadcast Division for
monitoring high definition (HD) video feeds in both the
International Broadcasting Centre (IBC) and the Euro
Cup stadiums.

Broadcast Electronics Mourns Larry Cervon
|
|
Broadcast Electronics (BE) is mourning the passing of
its past president Lawrence Cervon, who died on
Saturday, July 5, at his home in Laurel, New York. He
was 86 and suffered from pulmonary fibrosis.
