Scopus Video Networks announced that it has
entered into a non-binding Term Sheet to acquire the
business of Optibase Ltd., the Company's principal
shareholder.
Optibase reported revenue of approximately $23
million for 2007.

The new AVCCAM handheld will be available on

Canon Exclusive Provider of HD Lenses For NBC Coverage of Olympics

Canon U.S.A.'s Broadcast & Communications division
has been chosen as the exclusive provider of HD
lenses to NBC Olympics for its coverage of the Beijing
Games.
NBC will also be using the Canobeam DT-150 HD
Free Space Optics video transceiver system for
transmitting "beauty shots" of Beijing back to NBC's
Olympic broadcast facility.

Matsushita Reports First Quarter Net Profit Increase
|

Strong sales of digital products led to favorable first
quarter results.
In the electronics industry during the first quarter under
review, while there was a growing demand before the
Beijing Olympics, severe business conditions
continued in Japan and overseas, due mainly to price
declines centered on digital products, a stronger yen
against the U.S. dollar and rising prices for raw
materials and energy.
