a part of HD Expo's Intensive workshop series.
The Panasonic Intensive Workshop will offer a complete overview
of the AJ-HPX3000, the industry's first native 1080p one-piece
camcorder for master-quality acquisition. Attendees will get
a close-up look at the camera's impressive picture quality
and performance and learn about the benefits of the solid-state
workflow for high definition production. Attendees will also
get to view and learn about Panasonic's newly-announced P2
HD VariCam® master-quality camcorders (the VariCam 3700
and VariCam 2700).
With 2/3", 2.2 million 3-CCDs, the HPX3000 captures cinema-quality
images in full-raster 1920 x 1080 resolution with 4:2:2 10-bit
sampling, utilizing AVC-Intra, the industry's most advanced
compression technology. The solid-state HPX3000 also offers
industry-standard DVCPRO HD recording, gamma settings including
VariCam Film-Rec, innovative new technologies such as Chromatic
Aberration Compensation (CAC) and Dynamic Range Stretch (DRS),
and up to 200 minutes of 1080 24p recording (with five 32GB
P2 cards).
The new P2 HD VariCam camcorders, VariCam 3700 (model AJ-HPX3700)
and VariCam 2700 (model AJ-HPX2700), represent a synergistic
pairing of Panasonic's popular solid-state recording technology
