Ross Video Releases SoftMetal v2.0 at NAB 2008

Ross Video announced today that they will release version 2.0 of their SoftMetal Video Servers at NAB 2008 (booth SU6010).

New features in v2.0 will include Media Manager Application for easy viewing and sorting of clips, Transcode Manager Application for transcoding files, various UI and system enhancements, Apple Final Cut
Pro, QuickTime Animation and Avid workflow support.

"This is the second major software release since our launch at NAB 2007," said Jeff Moore, President "It is great to see the growing customer base for this product line and be able to deliver these key new features to all of our users."

SoftMetal is a line of multi-definition video servers designed for both production and master control applications. They are available in 36 different configurations -18 standard definition models and 18
multi-definition models.
