The Newseum, a new 250,000-square-foot museum of the news media in Washington, D.C., has chosen the ScheduALL production and operations management solution for its state-of-the-art HD production facilities and A/V resources. The highly visible Newseum, which opened April 11, 2008, is using ScheduALL to schedule, track, and manage all broadcasting equipment, personnel, and resources.

The Newseum's HD production facilities include two production studios, two control rooms, five edit suites, and a digital, multiformat HD news production infrastructure that will be used to host high-profile news programs such as ABC's "This Week with George Stephanopoulos."

ScheduALL provides a centralized view into the scheduling of all rooms, equipment, and personnel to prevent double-booking and to ensure that all projects are executed on schedule and on budget, and with the resources they require. ScheduALL is also being used to manage scheduling of A/V equipment and personnel for the Newseum's conference center, which may be leased for a variety of events.

"ScheduALL has become a valuable tool for our organization. At a moment's glance, we can view the happenings of the entire Newseum and all of the resources associated with the various events taking place at our complex facility," said Dawn Williams, the Newseum's manager of audiovisual services.

"We're very excited to be part of such a high-visibility, prestigious organization," said Joel Ledlow, CEO of ScheduALL. "The Newseum is dedicated to giving the public an inside look at the absolute state of the art in today's broadcasting equipment and operations. The fact that the Newseum chose ScheduALL to manage this critical component of its operation speaks volumes about our unique capability to understand and deliver management solutions, instead of just selling product."
