SES Acquires Stake in Dubai-based System Integrator Glocom

ND SatCom, an SES ASTRA company, announced today that SES acquired a stake in Glocom, a Dubai-based system integrator and equipment supplier for turnkey digital broadcasting solutions. Zahid Mirza, founder and President of Glocom, remains co-shareholder and continues in his position as CEO.

ND SatCom has strongly increased its revenues outside Europe, of which roughly 15% are generated in the fast growing Middle East and Africa region. Dr. Karl Classen, President & CEO of ND SatCom, states that the investment is an excellent opportunity to strengthen
