In collaboration with its partner, American
Paper Optics, Sirius 3-D technology and solutions will be
at NAB to show attendees that they can broadcast in
3-D today.
This can be achieved instantly without waiting for slow-moving
standards to be implemented or by making large investments
in proprietary technology. ColorCode 3-D technology will be
demonstrated on the American Paper Optics Booth SL4514C at
the NAB Show 2010.
Steen Iversen, CEO, Sirius 3-D, explains: At the heart
of our NAB presence is the ColorCode 3-D Encoder - a real-time
stereoscopic encoder with an easy, intuitive user interface
that converts Left and Right eye signals into a single, ColorCode
3-D signal. With our inexpensive ColorCodeViewer Paper 3-D
glasses, any consumer TV set can then be used for the full
3-D experience.
The ColorCode 3-D system is established and universal, since
the results of the ColorCode 3-D Encoder process can be played
out using existing studio equipment and broadcast infrastructure,
just like any normal TV show or commercial.

Filmmakers, broadcasters, and advertisers alike are catching
on fast to the potential of the ColorCode 3-D system. Last
year over 100 million pairs of ColorCodeViewer Paper 3-D glasses
were given away as part of the Monsters vs. Aliens
and SoBe Lifewater Super Bowl promotion, while
in the UK, Channel 4 used the system to promote a huge range
of new and archived content as part of its 3D Week.
Our partner, American Paper Optics, has great experience
of delivering large quantities of custom-printed glasses on
time and within budget, Iversen concludes. The
glasses are a great promotional tool and ideal for attracting
sponsorship. Why wait?
