SmartJog (#1.B79) will demo its new HD transcoding functionality, part of its SmartTools suite of products.

SmartJog provides solutions for all broadcast distribution workflows, including HD, by automating the time consuming processes of preparing and sending digital content. SmartJog is a file agnostic platform, any type of content can be sent and received across its network, regardless of file size or format.

Clients can send HD source files via SmartJog that are compatible with the recipient's video servers. SmartTools, offers a full range of applications aimed at eliminating time-consuming processes involved with managing video content.

Clients can transcode HD files to various formats such as DNxHD or DVCPro100 to facilitate specific editing needs or MXF wrapper for broadcast server ingest. In one simple step, files are automatically sent via SmartJog and transcoded or wrapped to the end recipient's identified specifications.
