IT-based workflow dominates Sony’s stand at IBC 2008. In addition to the latest HD production systems for live outside broadcast and studio events, visitors to the News and Live Production area will see how SONAPS optimises the news and sports production process from planning, acquisition and editing to playout, distribution and archive. Through bespoke design and delivery by Sony’s Professional Services team and already on-air across Europe in a strong broadcast customer base that is set to expand at IBC 2008, SONAPS offers an easy migration path to HD, accommodates third-party integration and is entirely scalable for future and multi-system expansion.
