Radio broadcasters
across China are turning increasingly to Studer's OnAir Series
of digital broadcast consoles for their reliability and ease
of use. As evidence to that statement, new OnAir 1000 and
2000 desks have recently been delivered to Sichuan Radio,
Foshan Radio, Shunde Radio and Bao'an Radio.
Four of these installations are in newly-built
studios for daily live broadcast. Sichuan Radio will be using
its OnAir 1000 and 2000 consoles for news and music. The three
other regional stations-- Foshan, Shunde and Bao'an--have
all purchased OnAir 2000 models for their solidly reliable
performance in a daily on-air application.
Furthermore, the Wuxi Media Group has chosen
two OnAir 2000 Modulo consoles for its newly refurbished studios.
Broadcasting news on AM and FM, the Wuxi studio has chosen
to upgrade to digital for the first time with Studer.
According to Studer importer ACE International,
the success of Studer's digital technology is equally impressive
in television broadcast circles. The Shanghai TV News Channel,
part of the Shanghai Media Group, is upgrading its main news
studio to digital audio by installing a Studer OnAir 3000
console. This same model has been chosen by CCTV Central China
for a 1000-square-foot studio in Beijing.
"One of our best clients is Beijing
Radio," explains ACE's Rico Fung. "They have a long
history with Studer, using all the OnAir Series consoles and
Vista 7. Currently they are building new television studios,
and these will be equipped with two Vista 5 digital consoles
for live broadcast and program production."
