Overview
The VelocityDVI line of video extenders support visual applications that do not require keyboard, mouse or any other desktop connections other than RGB and/or DVI video.
Using fiber optic technology the system delivers industry standard video formats up to 1920 x 1200.
Powered by Thinklogical's patent-pending MRTS (Multi Rate Transmission System) technology, the Velocity DVI digital video extension system supports up to 6.25 Gbps, allowing for full frame rate, uncompressed DVI.
Every frame of a video stream is transported seamlessly, with no compression, or dropped frames.
Leveraging standard SFP+ transceivers, the system allows for the usage of either multi-mode or single-mode fiber optic cable.
VelocityDVI video extenders extend video source up 10 kilometers, support DDC2B and up to 3 single-link DVI displays (Velocitydvi System 33), as well as dual-link DVI (Velocitydvi System 6) and RGB/analog (Velocityrgb System 9).
Models also include a local video port on transmitter (DVI-D on the transmitter) and an additional video output on the receiver.
