Thomson announced that The Lerro Corporation — an independent reseller and expert integrator of multi-format broadcast and video production equipment based in Norristown, Penn., — has added the Thomson Grass Valley Infinity Digital Media Camcorder (DMC) to its extensive inventory and is one of many members of the new Thomson Grass Valley Xensium Dealer Program. Lerro also offers comprehensive personal customer service to support the Thomson Grass Valley product line.

The company now owns and will demonstrate a complete Infinity Series workflow that includes the Infinity DMC, REV PRO media and drives, and the EDIUS® nonlinear editing system. Lerro will host a special Open House and Technology Showcase at its Norristown headquarters on November 12 to introduce the new Infinity camcorder to its market.

As a member of the Xensium Dealer Program, Lerro's staff recently completed a comprehensive technical and product-training program provided by Thomson personnel. The Lerro Corp. is now one of many certified broadcast equipment dealers located across North America that have received extensive training and support from Thomson to allow Lerro's staff to address the growing demand for Infinity.

"The Infinity camcorder really answers every customer's question in regards to providing a robust system that offers a choice of format, compression, and solid-state recording," said Matthew Murphy, President of The Lerro Corporation. "All of the benefits of a file-based workflow are wholly embraced by the Thomson Grass Valley Infinity DMC, and we believe it will be very successful in our region."

A long-time dealer of Thomson Grass Valley products and in business for over 50 years, The Lerro Corporation specializes in production equipment sales, system design, installation and support services for full-scale production facilities in a variety of industries.
