Broadcast
systems integrator TV Magic today announced the appointment
of Stephen Milley as the company's vice president of sales.
Milley has been involved in the broadcast, production, and
A/V markets for nearly 20 years, working as a professional
in the field and serving in sales and marketing roles for
world-leading manufacturers of broadcast equipment.

In his new position with TV Magic, Milley will oversee the
company's San Diego, Los Angeles, and New York sales and marketing
departments. The appointment of Milley as vice president of
sales and marketing enables TV Magic's Pat Thompson to take
on the new role of senior vice president of engineering operations.

"Working with TV Magic presents an exciting opportunity
for me, as the company already boasts a strong reputation
across the industry and is poised for further growth through
its three North American offices," said Milley. "In
my role with TV Magic, I will continue the company's commitment
to building strong client relationships, not only through
the provision of design and installation of systems that meet
each customer's unique needs, but also by providing ongoing
support after the sale."
Milley began his career in the video production world after
graduating from Temple University with a degree from the university's
Radio-TV-Film Department. His experience in numerous production
roles led to his appointment as a production manager for Visual
Sound, where his credits included commercials with JC Penney,
music videos with Boyz II Men, and broadcasts of WTA (Women's
Tennis Association) events.
Milley entered broadcast sales and marketing with a post at
Audio Video Supply and later joined Panasonic Broadcast &
Television Systems as district sales manager for Southern
California, Nevada, and Hawaii. While at Panasonic, he made
significant sales to customers in the cable, government, military,
and educational markets. He built on this success as district
sales manager at JVC Professional Products Company, where
he was instrumental in the launch of the company's ProHD product
line, with successful implementation in accounts including
Saddleback Church, KOCE, Viejas Casino, and California State
Fullerton.
"We're pleased to welcome Steve to TV Magic and anticipate
that his extensive experience in the industry from
hands-on production to representation of advanced broadcast
systems in a variety of markets will enrich our ability
to provide clients with smart solutions that address their
current and future media needs," said Stephen D. Rosen,
president of TV Magic. "With Pat serving in his new role
in charge of engineering, we are better prepared than ever
to deliver quality broadcast and A/V solutions in a timely
manner."
Thompson's new position as senior vice president of engineering
operations entails heading up all engineering across TV Magic.
He will focus on the engineering department's organizational
structure, reporting and process, development of metrics,
resource management, organizing and implementing the project
management office, and all things in between. He will bring
focus to engineering while strengthening the foundation on
which TV Magic's business is based.
Thompson has been with the company in various capacities and
has extensive knowledge of its management, organization, business,
history, and focus. He is also part of executive management,
which should prove invaluable to supporting, organizing, and
preparing engineering operations for the future.
