year in a row Widevine has won the award for Best Content
Protection, this time for a solution that has also been selected
by three major studios for their own digital media initiatives.
Judging is conducted by a panel of independent
industry experts that includes CTOs, senior technologists
from international broadcasters, network operators and industry
analysts. Cable & Satellite International defines the
following criteria for judges to rank winners: technical innovation,
product usefulness, uniqueness and proven deployments. Judges
selected Cypher for the PC because of its unique ability to
secure all forms of digital media to PC and PC-based consumer
platforms.

Product of the Year Awards 2007 continue to maintain a reputation
