X2O Media recently teamed up with reseller and distributor Desmet & Associates Europe to offer the complete line of X2O Media digital signage products directly to the European market. X2O Media will join Desmet & Associates Europe in their IBC2007 booth to demonstrate:
Xpresenter™ Suite V2.0

During IBC2007, X2O Media will be introducing Version 2.0 of its Xpresenter™ system. The Xpresenter solution is an affordable, easy-to-use system that allows Microsoft PowerPoint® users to produce broadcast-quality graphics that incorporate animations, clip art galleries, video clips, and real-time data sources — all without ever leaving the PowerPoint interface.

Xpresenter includes a style gallery of graphics templates, custom control panels, video clip previewing, and tools for quickly resizing presentations to fit the varying dimensions of output displays and broadcast monitors. With Xpresenter, users can with minimal effort produce compelling presentations containing live information for any type of visual display for retailers.

Version 2.0 of Xpresenter streamlines the process of creating digital signage projects even further. The 2.0 system builds on the existing Xpresenter platform by adding UI enhancements and repackaging the existing applications.

Key Features Include:

• New Content Manager: The focus of the Xpresenter V2.0 Suite will switch from an easy-to-use authoring tool to a broader set of capabilities focused on content management. The primary interface for users will now be a new powerful application called Content Manager, which will enable users to create playlists of content, schedule the content, and have the content distributed to all players from a single interface. New drag-and-drop scheduling tools and time-based playlists make content management easier than ever.

• New Template Library: New to Version 2.0 is a Template Library of ready-to-use graphics templates created by X2O's award-winning graphics artists. The templates are completely customizable, saving users time and cost in creating professional, broadcast-quality content.

• Web-Based Management Tools: Customized Web screens allow even non-technical users to easily update digital signage content displayed on screens without accidentally affecting the overall look and feel of the content. On-screen elements such as crawling tickers can be updated daily, making digital signage content timely and compelling.

• Improved Server: The Xpresenter Server now offers robust network content, monitoring with E-mail notification, and enhanced content distribution capabilities. It automatically synchronizes content files in playlists with files on each player throughout a network.

• Centralized Data Feed Management: Data feeds such as RSS feeds or other live data sources are now managed from a central location, the Xpresenter Server. This means all data is managed centrally and pushed to players on a network, making the process much more efficient for digital signage networks of all sizes.
